We read with great interest “Determinants and outcomes of acute kidney injury among older patients undergoing invasive coronary angiography for acute myocardial infarction: The SILVER-AMI Study” by Dodson et al.1 The results revealed that the predictors of acute kidney injury in older patients were similar to those described in younger populations. However, aging-related predictors were not related to risk of acute kidney injury.
