An Unusual Case of Pleural Effusion Associated With Fitz-Hugh-Curtis Syndrome

Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome is the perihepatic inflammation of the Glisson capsule caused by pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), and it is often unrecognized. Here we report a rare case of Fitz-Hugh-Curtis syndrome associated to Neisseria gonorrhoeae infection with secondary right pleural effusion.
