Originally designed for young patients, their application is increasingly extended to older people.1,2 Around 30% of older adult patients hospitalized for acute myocardial infarction fulfill frailty criteria.3-7 There is a rational basis for implementing exercise programs in these patients. Muscular weakness, low mobility, sarcopenia and other frailty-associated conditions might benefit from tailored rehabilitation programs.
